Why I chose a Bachelor of Arts...
I love performing, but I knew I wanted to have my hands in more than just the on-stage aspect of theatre, and a B.A. at Winthrop University allowed me to do just that. I used my electives to take stage management, costuming, and design courses. I minored in Educational Studies, which combined my love for working with kids that I gained from years of summer camp with my love for the arts. As an Honors Program student, I was also able to stage a reading of my play, "Not Your Mother's Motherhood" as my Culminating Honors Thesis Project.
Teaching songs at YMCA Camp Cherokee The Cast of my thesis play, "Not Your Mother's Motherhood" Theatre for young audiences is important to me I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Winthrop University in May 2024 Teaching and singing musical for my original musical, "Seeing You" I toured "A Year With Frog and Toad" for 9 months with New Stage Theatre.
